New Work For A New Year

Happy New Year everybody!
We're kicking off the year with some new work by Andrew Widdis.
They're nice big bowls - some other sizes are in the making.

New White

It's been a while, but we have some new work from Andrew Widdis. This picture shows a set of lovely bowls with a satin white glaze on the outside and a warmer coloured glaze on the inside. Plus we have some little blue ones that you can see in our store and you can see what Andrew has been up to on his blog.

Penguin Pourer

Hand assembled rolled little milk pourers by Andrew Widdis available in our shop and online.

Dark Desire

Andrew Widdis makes these stoneware mugs from clay he digs near his country home. They are assembled from sheets of clay formed with a slab roller. The glaze uses red iron oxide which, he tells me, makes it food safe.
